Zoe is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) working with Aspire Fitness and Rehabilitation (AFR). She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Sciences, major in Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours). In addition to being an AEP, Zoe is also a certified Yoga Instructor and is in the process of completing her Pilates instructor training.

Since graduating Zoe has been working as a strength and conditioning coach and AEP at Brisbane Girls Grammar School for a variety of their sports including: athletics, swimming, tennis, rowing and water polo. She also teaches Pilates in kindergartens through  Kids Heart Pilates. Zoe enjoys working with children and adolescents to equip them with a strong foundation of exercise skills that they can continue to use throughout their lives.

Zoe also has a special interest in working with people with chronic conditions, particularly in cancer care and using exercise as an effective therapy during- and post-treatment. Her Honours research project involved exploring the benefits of exercise for cancer patients and so Zoe is especially excited to be involved with the Leukaemia Foundation Australia exercise program ‘Fit to Thrive’ offered at AFR.

No matter what age or health status you are, Zoe believes in the power of movement. She is very passionate about sharing the benefits of exercise and will do her best to help you move in the best way that you can.
